New PBS Documentary on Adventist
Education Available for Previewing

The Blueprint: the Story of Adventist Education,” Martin Doblmeier’s documentary film that focuses on the extraordinary education system operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, will premier in November with a series of showings for church members throughout the North American Division.  Following the series of previews, the film will be nationally broadcast a number of times on the Public Broadcasting System in early 2014, with an expected television audience of 20 million viewers.
This is Doblmeier’s latest creation, and follows his award-winning films, “Bonhoffer,” “ David Livingston,” and “The Power of Forgiveness,” as well as “The Adventists” and “The Adventists 2.”
The film highlights schools from California to Arizona to Colorado to Brooklyn emphasizing the methods used by the Adventist education system to meet the unique needs of differing locations.  It showcases large schools, small schools, rural schools, inner city schools, and a school for Native Americans. Throughout the film outstanding educators in both the church and public sectors share their assessments of the educational system and their comments on the Adventist Education Advantage.
